International Fight Week is now the MMA world's conversation with one of the most important nights of the year that is approaching quickly.
The most important event of UFC 317 will certainly be one of the biggest fights of 2025, but options now seem relatively slim.
After clarifying rumors that he was not injured, Dricus Du Plessis was still able to be in the conversation, although he wrote in his statement that fighting in June was never an option that was locked up.
There have also been some positive signs with regard to Ilia Topuria who teased that he was back in the camp and out on 28 June for a little more than two months, this could be a possibility.
Ultimately, the fight sees that most fans want to see between Jones and Tom Aspinall at the moment very unlikely and fans are starting to become impatient with the MMA leader.

Dana White trolls fan on social media who called him to announce the fight
With people like Dricus Du Plessis, Ilia Topuria and Islam Makhachev who are all closely followed by fans, an announcement with regard to UFC 317 will not be far away.
That is unless the UFC still has to guarantee what the main event will be, but in both cases they will probably keep their cards close to their boxes until the news is placed.
The last public performance by Dana White came on another huge date on the TKO calendar for 2025, Wrestlemania 41 that took place last weekend in Las Vegas.
White did not get the best of the crowd's reactions when he was shown on the scenes and fans on social media had a similar answer.
In the coming days Kansas will be a city for the first TKO takeover with the UFC that organizes a Fight Night event on Saturday night with WWE RAW that will take place the following Monday.
However, the TKO promotion starts on Thursday in the T-Mobile Center with a professional Bull Riders event before the Octagon arrives.
The UFC boss shared a message about his bull, called 'Dana White's Playmate', debut PBR teams, but one dissatisfied fan had other announcements in mind and wrote: “Who gives your cow. Announces the fight.”
White responded to the comment by trolling the fan and referring to his valued bull.
“LMFAO !!!!! I never announce it. How handsome is that bull!?!? Say it”

The only comment to which Dana White responded was certainly not the only fan who asked for answers under the last post of the UFC President.
Fight fans repeatedly refer to UFC 317 and the list of potential fights that could lead one of the largest cards of the year under the post.
Although some referred to the will of Topuria vs Makhachev or Jones vs Aspinall who would all be suitable candidates for this selection framework, others just wanted any kind of news now that the map is on the horizon.
One fan summarized a lot of the reactions by just telling it that White should do his job and writes: “Quickly some fighting.”
