I’m Palmer’s and other England stars’ barber – EPL captain to have his hair cut

Footballers must be sharp.

And that is why hairstyles are so important.

It is therefore no wonder that Kings is cut in Epsom – just a 20 -minute drive from Chelsea's Cobham Training Ground – are familiar to deliver the decorations for some of the top stars of the Premier League.

Founders Joe and Huw have a whole series of big names among their regular customers – including England -Stars Cole Palmer and Declan Rice.

Many players with Chelsea connections also get their hair cut at Kings Cuts.

A fair part of the Fulham team too, given the hairdresser's shop is just three miles from the training field of the Cottagers.

That is partly because club captain Tom Cairney recommends the hairdressers to new signing sessions, which have been a loyal customer for ten years.

Huw told Sunssport's Football Fixers YouTube show: “We have players from Non-League to Sunday League to Premier League to Champions League.

“Tom Cairney is probably my longest customer, Declan Rice was probably around the same time.

“Cole Palmer The last few years since he has been to Chelsea, Jamal Musiala is a good one, but he is clearly in Germany, so he comes in when he is in England.

“I have done Levi Colwill since he was young and still does Tino Livramento when he can come in.

“Joe does Billy Gilmour, but he is now in Napoli, so he flies to Italy every now and then.

“With Tom almost more than ten years, that has spent many other Fulham players.

“As club captain, people turn to him for advice about hairstyles when they are new in the area.

“And the fact that he has very good hair helps.”

When asked how often he waves with kings cuts for a new blur, Cairney revealed: “Once a week. Is that bad?

“I think it's normal nowadays.

“I've never had a bad hairstyle. He can do it in about four minutes. Quickly.”

Huw is so familiar among his famous customers that Rice even succeeded in getting him in an English arrangement to offer hairstyles for the Three Lions team.

He added: “When I was invited to the camp of England, it was a pinch-me-moment.

“You go inside and spot x, y, z … yes, this is a bit mental.

“Deck has been told that I can be familiar with a few of the boys in England, which is a nice feeling.”

But the hairdressers got the best out of that confidence by playing some jokes on the football players in their Surrey store.

Many of the hilarious videos have become viral on Tiktok, nothing more than when they tried a “baby it is Cole outside” Christmas Jumper on Palmer, who has collected more than 12 million views.

And the Kings Cuts Jokers performed another trick for the Sunsport cameras when Cairney entered – so that a giant scissors halfway through the upholstery brought a few giant scissors forward.

However, cuting the Premier League -playing football hair is not always just sailing.

Joe revealed: “My experience with football players does not plan their hairstyles at all.

“Whether they have a game or training or a little free time, they just ask you an hour earlier.

'You always make room for it. There is always after work or after hours or you might have a small gap you can do [squeeze them in]. “

But the extra attention – and habit – of the controversial customers means that things bloom for cuts on Koningen.

And the future is indeed very rosy.

Huw concluded: “I think our plan is just to grow as a company, just to keep building step by step. There is no rush or busy.

“Once we have done the maximum here, possibly open a new store, build on social media, building on more football players, but not just footballers, just to grow as a company.”

With their warm personalities, the willingness to laugh and top quality decorations for some of the best football players in the country, it is clear to see why Joe and Huw are a cut above the rest …
