Incredible prize money revealed for Club World Cup – Chelsea & Man City in line

Manchester City and Chelsea are up to £ 97 million when they win from this summer's re -club World Cup.

The general prize pool, shared between all 32 teams based on various factors, hit € 1 billion for the tournament in June to start in the United States.

City brought around £ 110 million two years ago for winning the Champions League, but can come close to a seven-game run in a month at the end of this season.

Both clubs are ready for conversations with countless FAs all over the world about the potential availability of their international stars.

But although there are problems around the peace and travel for the opening group games – Chelsea Play Leon on June 16, city city opposite Wydad AC two days later – those who appear before their countries will be in situ for the business end of the competition.

FIFA has collaborated with the European Club Association to build a framework for the prize money, with just over £ 400 million promised for 'participation', which takes commercial power and has been completed on a sliding scale.

Another £ 368 million has been reserved for the performance of a club above the tournament, for profit bonuses and progression by the knockout rounds.

FIFA has said that all other income that is generated everywhere will be invested again in club football around the world.
