Arsenal are boosted by the return of defender Riccardo Calafiori and midfielder Ethan Nwaneri ahead of their Champions League clash with Dinamo Zagreb.
Arsenal have won four of six European games so far this season, also drawing goalless with Atalanta and losing 1-0 to runners-up Inter in 2022/23.
Ahead of Tuesday's matches, the Opta supercomputer gave the Gunners a 98% chance of reaching the last 16 and a 13% chance of winning the tournament, making them third favorites behind Liverpool (22%) and Inter (17%).
However, Mikel Arteta's team has been plagued by injuries in recent weeks, with Bukayo Saka sidelined for more than two months with a hamstring injury and William Saliba picking up a muscle problem during last week's win over Tottenham.
Arsenal have had a difficult start to 2025, winning just one of their first five games of the year in all competitions, but Arteta can welcome Calafiori and Nwaneri back this week.
“It's very positive news. We missed them for a few weeks and today they came back for training,” Arteta said of the duo.
“They will be available for the match. Saliba is feeling much better, but this match comes a little too early for him.”
Nwaneri scored five goals in 18 games in his breakout season. Italy international Calafiori, meanwhile, has struggled with his fitness since joining from Bologna for around £40m.
Arteta warned Arsenal's upcoming opponents Dinamo, who are 24th in the Champions League with eight points from six games, will pose a difficult challenge in the battle for a play-off spot.
“They have a number of individuals who stand out to you. We are in a strong position, and now it is time to capitalize at home,” said Arteta, as Arsenal hoped to skip the knockout round of the play-offs by competing in the to finish top eight.
“With the schedule we had for the last three months, you can take a break and reset a little bit, work on things and rest some people.
“After the work we have done in recent months, we need a strong performance against a very good team, and we will try to do that. So far we have done very well.”
After hosting Dinamo, Arteta's side travel to Spain next week to face Girona in their final group match.
