Injury update: Balde and Lewandowski in contention for Inter-Barcelona

Barcelona and Inter will release their medical teams on their stars in the coming hours, while trying to prepare their stars again for the battle for the second stage of their semi -final of the Champions League. Both teams will be nurse injuries that go in the second stage.

For their part, the Blaugrana suffered a fear in warming when Lamine Yamal went into the dressing room early. The 17-year-old was fit to play, but Jules Kounde went down with an injury and will probably miss the second stage against Inter.

The question now is about whether Barcelona will get players back, with all eyes on Robert Lewandowski and Alejandro Bald.

“We hope that they may be able to play earlier, but we have to wait. In this situation we can't do stupid things, so we have to wait until the medical team says well, green light, as we did with Lamine today,” said Hansi Flick de Pers at Montjuic.

Lewandowski feeds a knee -besche injury that he sustained about 10 days ago, while Balde went down from a hamstring problem. According to RAC1, Baldo is on track to be back for the second stage in Italy. There are more doubts about whether Lewandowski will be back in time, but he is also not excluded. Flick's answer seems to imply that they have the chance to return to Real Valladolid this weekend.

If Balde returns from an injury, it will immediately be less headache for Flick, who would bring him back to the left instead of Gerard Martin. Although his goals were of set pieces, Barcelona had difficulty controling Denzel Dumfries, and he also made an assist.

Lewandowski would be more present in the box for the second stage if available. This can be useful if Inter is deep, and the contrast between Ferran Torres and the Polish striker has been one of the recipes for success this season. Kounde, however, will have to be replaced and Eric Garcia looks like the most natural option to replace it, although Ronald Araujoa and Hector Fort are also alternatives.
