
Ethan Nwaneri had an afternoon to remember for Arsenal while he followed in the footsteps of Premier League legends Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen and CESC Fabregas.
The 17-year-old stole the show while his Gunners-side Leicester defeated 2-0, even though he was exhausted in attack.
Nwaneri took an assist when Mikel Merino came off the couch to grab a bracket in the King Power Stadium.
And the performance of the teenager were supported by various statistics that showed that he was one of the most important men on the field.
In the first half alone, Arsenal Prodigy Nwaneri enjoyed five of the five successful take-ons.
He also won all eight of his duels and even won two tackles to start.
Towards the end of the game, Nwaneri had made three successful tackles and had won 12 duels, while he also dictated the game with 32 passes of 62 touches.
He was also a threat in the last third part with four shots and six dribbles.
And his assist was the ideal reward for a strong day at the office.
However, Nwaneri's target contribution also saw him become a member of a valued group Premier League icons.
He has now scored or helped four goals from the Premier League before the age of 18.
And only top icons Rooney, Owen and Fabregas were more in before they turned 18.
Wazza took an incredible 12 combined goals and helps Everton during his time.
Owen made eight contributions in Liverpool.
And Fabregas was involved in six goals early in Arsenal.
Nwaneri only becomes 18 years old on March 21.
It means that he could surpass the total of Faben, with Owen and Rooney, certainly in his sights.
