Erling Haaland might remember the day that he achieved 250 club goals in exactly the opposite way he would like.
Write that Arsenal for that, with a tireless representation of the swing of the Manchester City striker that went much further than their 5-1 victory.
Such a terrible loss was only the last insult to the 24-year-old, who won the Prem title and Golden Boot in his first two seasons in the Etihad.
Haaland's “Stay Humble” message for Gunners -Baas Mikel Arteta Last September, dissatisfaction between certain players in both clubs.
And you didn't have to read between the lines on Sunday to see which two players had claimed the main roles.
Arsenal Centrum-Back Gabriel had entered the game and said, “It's a struggle, a war.”
And based on his efforts almost every time he met the Norwegian, it was also a fight he took personally.
When Martin Odegaard rammed the Gunners in the front after just two minutes, Gabriel roared with joy straight into the face of Haaland.
Many viewers were impressed by the calm way in which the former Borussia Dortmund – hero dealt with – while he almost ignored the Brazilian.
MyLes Lewis-Skelly then showed that Arsenal believes that you are never too young to move the target goat.
The 18-year-old waved in a stylish third goal and sunk into the grass for what fans have labeled an AA “S *** house” Haaland-Stijl Festival.
The defender sat with his arms out and eyes closed – while teammates are praising him from above.
In the meantime, Gabriel continued his series of niggly encounters with Haaland – sometimes he seem to push him away from the ball.
The two exchanged words at one point, where it reacted ahead by smiling.
And the worst moment of Gabriel – or best, depending on how you look at it, arrived when the Gunners were 4-1 higher.
The 27-year-old was on the ground when he picked up to pull Haaland's Shorts from behind.
Again the Stadsman, this time literally, seemed to be taking the business.
He glanced on to see what was going on, but continued to run away.
Unfortunately for Haaland, Sunday also meant the back of his third Prem Crown in a row.
Fourth placed city are now 15 points on drift from leaders Liverpool.
Some fans responded to the merciless treatment of Haaland by telling him: “When you talk about the conversation, you have to walk the walk.”
Another suggested: “The Prem missed something like that.”
And a third said: “As it should be. A defender has to rattle strikers and that is what Big Gabby does.”
But others praised Haaland because they seemed to keep his calmness.
Sky Sports placed a clip of a series of incidents with the 6ft 4ins Ace and his husband Marker, and added the words: “It is safe to say that there was a little needle between Haaland and Gabriel …”
But a fan placed: “Gabriel needle, yes. Haaland is an adult.”
The adult performance as a team, however, came from Arsenal, where the city donated the Gunners their opener and then collapsed in the last 34 minutes.
Poor Haaland also had to grin and wear that.
