
Newcastle players started the party in the changing rooms of Wembley – after ending 70 years of pain.
Toon Stars danced and drank from the Carabao Cup after a dramatic 2-1 victory over Liverpool in the house of football.
Local hero than burn and red-hot Swede Striker Alexander Isak were the goal score heroes for the Magpies.
Burned in the opener just before the break and sent the Newcastle half of Wembley Barmy.
Toon came out strong in the second half and Isak hit what the match winner turned out to be.
After climbing the Wembley steps to lift the trophy, Skipper Burn was filmed by performing his characteristic dance movements in the changing rooms.
The Sky Sports cameras showed that the defender was showered with champagne as he paraded his winners medal.
The victory ended a stunning week for the 32-year-old, who received his first England call by the new boss Thomas Tuchel.
And he assured the German that he would do it easily with his parties – because he trains three lions in the morning.
Said Burn with a grin: “I'll be the first at 8 o'clock tomorrow.”
Midfielder Sean Longstaff later came to hand because players in Newcastle had a party in the making for 70 years.
He saw a drink falling out of the trophy while teammates laughed and filmed on their phones.
Baas Eddie Howe cut an emotional figure under the massacre in West London.
Earlier this week, the former Bournemouth -Baas had insisted that Newcastle was not “cursed” and the players could “write history” with a victory.
Howe said: “We consistently worked on set games for this game for two weeks and if you had seen us in practice, you would have said we had no chance.
“We couldn't believe that Burn scored – he didn't train that way! He was a colossus for us.
“I am very emotional and have been all day long, which is different from me.
“We knew what was at stake today for all our fans, we wanted to do them proudly and win the trophy.
“I am so happy with the result and the achievements – we deserved to win today.”
An emotional Bruno Guimaraes called the victory the “best day of his life”.
The Brazilian said: “The supporters earn everything.
“When I came here for the first time, I said I wanted to place my name in history. We can now say that we are the champions again. This is one of the best days of my life.
“I have no words. It is the best day of my life. For them [the fans] It is just like the World Cup.
“People grew up and have not seen us as champions. My first year as a captain of this club and it is one of the best days. This is incredible.”
