Romario's life outside the field has been more colorful than his life has been on since he hung his boots in 2009.
The legendary Brazilian striker, 59, who claims to have scored more than a thousand career goals, is said to be released with a student of his junior for 30 years.
The woman in question, Alicya Gomes, reportedly met him during last year's municipal elections in Brazil, where Romario works in politics.
They were brought together for the first time on a night out in Rock in Rio in October, when Romario Alicya took to watch Mariah Carey.
World Cup winner Romario also has six children, including a born of an extra matrimonial affair with an actress while he was still with his second wife Daniele Favato.

In 2018, Romario 'Sex Mad' was branded in his home country.

Epic career
Apart from his extracurricular activities away from football, Romario on the field was a master goalkeeper.
Before Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi gave an epic number of goals, he hit them for fun.
According to official data, he scored 690 goals in 893 games in club football.
In 2007, while in the mid-1930s he was still one of the most productive sniper in Brazil in the top-flight-scored 15 times for Vasco de Gama in just 19 games in all competitions.
He briefly retired in 2024 at the age of 58 to play for America Football Club in Rio de Janeiro, alongside his son Romarinho in the second row of Brazil.
In Europe he is well reminded by PSV fans, where he had a record of 128 goals in 149 games.
