Laura Woods is one of the most recognizable faces on TV when it comes to football presentation

The ladies -2025 has officially started, with an exciting tournament that is expected, while the Lionesses strive to keep their European championship title.

Wales also made their first performance in the competition and qualified for the first time.

The tournament started on Wednesday 2 July in the Arena Thun Stadium and organizes 34 games before a champion is crowned.

England and Wales will join 14 other countries in the search to lift the trophy on July 27.

The final will be held in St Jakob-Park Stadium in Basel, Switzerland, conveniently located near the Eurovision Last location.

ITV has announced Laura Woods as part of his Punditry team, after her successful Stint for major sporting events on the channel.

The 36-year-old, originally from Dagenham in London, is also known for organizing Talksport's Breakfast Show, where she formed a brilliant collaboration with co-presenter Ally McCoist, Lancs Live reports.

Laura ordered the breakfast slot of 6.00 am on Talksport on Talksport for three years, in which she collected various prizes, including the valued Arias Best Speech Breakfast Breakfast Show and the Sja Sports Presenter of the Year twice.

In July 2023, Laura revealed that she left Talksport to take on the role of lead presenter for TNT Sports' Champions League and boxing covering. She also treated the Olympic Games and some Premier League matches.

Laura started her television career in 2009, starting as a runner at Sky Sports before he makes his way through numerous positions within sports broadcasts.

She has now established herself as one of the most famous figures in the English football presentation, who progresses through the ranks at Sky Sports to obtain prominent roles as a presenter and Touchline reporter for their Premier League cover.

Laura's expertise ultimately led her further than Sky Sports as the demand for her presenting talents grew. She came to Dazn at Front Women's Champions League and Matchrome Boxing Coverage, while also led the ITV's World Cup presentation of ITV.

Despite her passionate Arsenal Trouw, Laura was attracted by the fan-oriented philosophy of TNT Sports.

She discussed her excitement about the position and revealed: “I think the thing that I sold the most was that they want to be near the fans, they want to be through the fans. And for me I think as a presenter, what I really enjoyed is that rugged and ready presenting. Go to the ground, it is a reply – it is different, you can? You can?

Laura's family life

Away from the cameras, Laura and former Love Island -star Adam Collard welcomed their first child, son Leo Ernie Collard, in January 2025.

The couple went publicly with their romance in October 2023 before they described twelve months later in St Ives, Cornwall – as the “place where they were in love”.

Last summer Laura made the personal choice to keep her pregnancy under wraps while covering Euro 2024 for ITV, even though he was aware.

Speaking with The Times she confessed: “It was constant, the morning sickness was quite difficult to fight and I was always exhausted.

“It didn't matter how much sleep you actually got, you would still be stripped. At least there were rest days that I could just relax in my [hotel] room.

“I would have liked it a little longer, but I really felt that I couldn't do it anymore and now I did it, it's a relief.”

Laura Woods' Rugby Ex

Before Laura Liefde found with her current partner Adam, Laura had a long-term relationship with Alex Corbisiero, an ex-England Rugby star known for his participation in the Triumphant 2013 Lions Tour of Australia.

The duo ended their eight -year romance, in which Laura indicates that they were too close to comfort, which led to her decision to separate.

Alex, who celebrated the Premiership Glory, bravely fell against sixicular cancer with the diagnosis in 2019 and joyfully shared his two -year cancer -free milestone on social media in 2022.

He currently gives his expertise as a scrum coach for San Diego Legion and contributes to Rugby Broadcasting Stateside.
