Inter fans beg to re-enter San Siro after leaving at 3-2 down in Barca thriller

Desperate Inter Milan fans continued to begged to go back to San Siro after he left early before the Italian side reached the Champions League final in an extraordinary draw against Barcelona.

Davide Frattesi scored an extra time winner to give Inter a 4-3 victory in the night at Barcelona in a classic of all time.

The hosts went two goals in the first half thanks to Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Çalhanoğlu, but Barcelona seemed to have completed a remarkable turning point with Eric García and Dani Olmo on the score sheet before Raphinha de Catalans led the 87th minute.

With just two minutes of the remaining time, the 37-year-old center-back Francesco Acerbi dramatically hit the roof of the net to bring the draw to extra time and see San Siro burst.

But a number of bad luck Inter -fans had already raced from the stadium and were forced to beg stewards to enable them to return with little success.

A video posted by TNT Sports on X shows a small group of fans who hopelessly argue with a steward outside the stadium of 80,000 seats.

The unfortunate inter fans missed a tense ending a spectacular semi-final in which Simone Inzhagi's side saw the Champions League final for the second time in three seasons.

Nine minutes in extra time, Fratessi caused euphoric scenes by curling a left shot in the bottom corner and climbing a security gate to celebrate the house support.

Lamine Yamal was then refused twice by Yann Sommer when the Italians persist to keep the score at 7-6 and reach the final in Munich.

Fans went to social media to disable Inter supporters before the early departure.

One said: “Missing one of the best games in history, not a real fan would run away at that moment.”

Another added: 'Serve them well! Jog at home and miss one of the best games in the history of your clubs. '

“No sympathy, don't let them in, they deserve the consequences,” said another.

The semi-final was the joint highest ever in the history of the Champions League, level with the 7-6 victory of Liverpool over Roma in 2018.

In the last two years ago, Inter lost to Manchester City and plays Arsenal of Paris Saint-Germain in the Allianz Arena on 31 May.

In this semi-final, the Gunners go second stage on the back of last week's 1-0 loss with a final shot to save their season.
