According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter Hojlund has made their number 1 attacking target and contact has already been made with transfer head of Piero Ausilio who speaks with United about a possible movement. Hojlund enjoyed a decent debut season at Man Utd and scored 16 goals in all competitions, but has since collapsed under manager Ruben Amorim while fans are patiently losing the young striker.
Inter has assessed other strikers, including Jonathan David, who leaves Lille on a free transfer when his contract ends while Lautaro MartÃnez was 28 years old in August and could become his attack partner. Hojlund reportedly gave all his approval to the negotiations and wants a switch to the San Siro that is his ideal destination if he has to leave the club.
Metro reports that the Nerazzurri will offer a loan with an option to buy for € 45 million – an obligation to buy if certain conditions are activated during the season. The Danish International delivered only 10 goals for United in all competitions last season and looked out of its depth in the Premier League when his side came close to relegation.
United has already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves and are very close to securing Bryan Mbeumo van Brentford who would move Hojlund whose place in the side is already in youroprady. A step back to the Serie A would probably be the best step for the 22-year-old who is clearly not ready for the English First Division at this stage in his career.
