Inter Miami CF achieved a 3-1 victory over Rivals Orlando City SC in the semi-final of the Leagues Cup 2025 to continue to the final of the tournament, while he also secured a 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup Ligplaats as one of the finalists. In the stop time, Messi was the provider, connected to the Venezuelan replacement Telasco Segovia, who added Miami's third to seal the victory.
