With Lionel Messi put aside, Orlando City seized the moment to claim dominance in the Sunshine State. Under head coach óscar Pareja, the lions passed Inter Miami with a convincing 4-1 victory in another fiery edition of the “Clásico del Sol”, which a serious blow in the hope of Miami to conquer the shielding of the supporters.
Luis Muriel gives the hosts and early lead
The night became purple early. Colombian striker Luis Muriel, fresh from a hat trick in the Leagues Cup, was wearing that momentum in his MLS recovery. In the box, Muriel showed its clinical finish, threw the opening goal home and Orlando put control with just two minutes on the clock.

Yannick Bright, the young midfielder, surprised the crowd with a sizzling volley who defeated the goalkeeper Pedro Gallese of Orlando to make it 1-1, so that life in Miami's comeback breathed breathes briefly.
With Messi out of the picture, Luis Muriel grabbed the chance to shine – and he did exactly that. The Colombian striker was back on the scoreboard for five minutes in the second half.
In a dazzling solo effort, Muriel hit the full-back Jordi Alba and threw the ball cool past goalkeeper óscar Ustari, and Orlando again placed 2-1.
Goals continue to flow in Orlando
Only eight minutes later the threat for Inter Miami continued, with Martín Ojeda joined the party in Orlando when his effort slid through the hands of Ustari.
Miami tried in vain and a counterattack led to the fourth of Orlando. Marco Pasalic was left alone in the box, and although Ustari initially saved, the Croatian De Rebound was given to achieve a memorable 4-1 victory.
