After having held discussions with Simone Inzaghi, the club reached an agreement for him to terminate his term of office at the Nerazzurri.
During his time as head coach of Inter Milan, Inzaghi's passionate, professional and selfless dedication earned widespread respect of fans, players, the coaching staff and club employees.
With six trophies -a Serie A title, two Coppa Italia titles and three Supercoppa Italiana titles -he led the club to the peak of Italian and European football for four seasons. He has become one of the most common head coaches in the history of Inter, alongside legends such as Helenio Herrera, Roberto Mancini, Giovanni Trapattoni and JosΓ© Mourinho. Just like these prominent coaches, Inzaghi has made important contributions to the glorious performance of Inter and will be remembered forever as the coach who led the Nerazzurri to their historical 'second star'.
