The Nerazzurri won through goals from Fede Dimarco, Nicolo Barella and Marcus Thuram.
Inzaghi said afterwards: “I told Thuram to go to that position at the back post on set plays.
“The boys did well as Parma had only recently lost to Napoli, so I am very pleased with the performance.
“Those were two excellent goals, but Lautaro must continue like this because he worked so hard and came back in the 90th minute to defend like a real captain. The only regret is that we conceded a goal, because the team deserved the clean sheet.”
On Barella, Inzaghi added: “He is extraordinary and I thought last season under me was his best, even though he contributed fewer goals and assists overall.”
