Simone Inzaghi believes that careful team management is crucial for his team, because he wants to balance their Serie A -Titel costs together with the Champions League final.
Inzaghi looked up while Inter on Sunday earned a 2-0 win over Torino, but the changes after their dramatic total victory over Barcelona at midweek.
Lautaro Martinez, Benjamin Pavard, Davide Frattesi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan all missed the competition day team.
The will of Yann Sommer, Denzel Dumfries, Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu and Federico Dimarco were also mentioned on the Bank for Inter.
But it didn't matter much like Inzaghi, who took the lead on his 150th Serie A match as Inter's Manager, Kristjan Asllani and Nicola Zalewski's goals conclude a victory.
Indeed, the Italian only became the second manager who won at least 100 games with two different teams in the top flight (100 with Inter and 108 with Lazio).
Inzaghi has chosen to rotate his most important players to ensure that the long season does not wear out if they try to complete the Serie A and Champions League Double.
“I have to give some players resting time after a long and difficult season,” Inzaghi, whose silk face Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Champions League, told Sky Sport Italia.
“For the players who were absent today, I don't think we will get one of them back (for the next game) against Lazio, but we will see for the last game with Como.
“People say that Inter has a small team, but we don't have the budget of PSG, Manchester City or Bayern Munich, so we have to be better in terms of organization.
“With this heart we can fight it with everyone.”

Prior to the 2-2 draw of Napoli with Genoa, Inzaghi admitted that the title race was still not in their hands with two remaining games.
Johan Vasquez scored an 84th minute equalizer for Genoa in the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, which means that the gap to Napoli has been cut to just one point.
“I said before the game, unfortunately the Scudetto is no longer in our hands,” said Inzaghi.
“But we have to keep playing with the focus as we did tonight, which we all give to a team that had not yet lost for their home fans.
“We needed a tough achievement and that was it.”
Inzaghi also praised the efforts of Zalewski in the match, including an early goal after a solo effort.
“He is doing very well and has a lot of quality. He actually started like a mezzala (half -wing) and can also work as a wingback,” said Inzaghi.
