Inzaghi says fatigue showing as Inter Milan battle on three fronts

The home victory keeps Inter Six Points free from the second placed Napoli, which will organize relegation-threatened Empoli on Monday.

With the busy side of Inzaghi who is still fighting in both the Coppa Italia and Champions League, their schedule remains very overloaded.

“We really gave up this competition and knew it would not be easy,” the manager told the media.

“We were distracted for their goal, but the team remained concentrated for the rest of the game. We will continue this trip. It is a struggle, but it makes us proud.

“Last season we played a total of 49 games, this year we are already at 48 and it is only April 12. It is a very tough season, but we have to adapt and do this with everyone who sacrifices themselves to help.”
