‘Is he scared?’… Daniel Cormier calls Jon Jones a quitter for retiring to avoid Tom Aspinall fight

Daniel Cormier shared his immediate response to Jon Jones who withdrew from MMA.

Conversations for a heavyweight unification between 'bones' and Tom Aspinall are going on all year round.

On Saturday, Dana White claimed that Jones retired, making Aspinall the new undisputed heavyweight champion.

Jon Jones then confirmed the news in a statement before his biggest UFC rival posted a video on YouTube that responded to the revelation.

Daniel Cormier accuses Jon Jones of stopping

Daniel Cormier lost twice in fighting against Jones, with whom he has shared a bitter feud for years.

A failed drug test means that one of those defeats has been removed from his record, but the images that are brutally eliminated by the greatest hunter of all time is still for the world to see.

'DC' has been honest with his thoughts in the Lange Jones vs Aspinall Saga.

The former UFC champion with double weight really kept it while he responded to the news of his Nemesis who retired.

“Unbelievable. I didn't think it would happen so quickly,” said Cormier.

“I said,” If Jon Jones doesn't fight this guy, Jon Jones stopped. ” Because he will walk away from something that has defined his entire adult life.

“To be honest, I'm not angry that this young man has a life with his family, and they have all this money, and they have all these great things.

“It does not change by not getting into that octagon, he stopped. He did not want to fight Tom Aspinall, it is so surprising.

“Is he scared? No, but by not fighting Asinall, he opened that conversation. He makes you all wonder why he is not fighting him.”

Daniel Cormier expects Jon Jones comeback

The UFC Hall of Famer is of the opinion that Jones's pension was caused by a desire to avoid Aspinall.

If the new heavyweight loses King, Cormier expects we will see Jones return from retirement.

“I really feel that if Tom loses, he will come back,” he added.

“It's crazy for me, because that will only make it worse.

“I don't know if this is tactic because of the UFC. I don't know if this is frustration with Jon Jones. I don't know what this is. Does it feel like the end? I hope it does that, because if he gives it up for his legacy, he doesn't want to beat up there from boys who can pass Tom Aspinall.

“They gave him the money, they gave him everything, and he would still not do it.”
