The proposed relocation of Alexander Isak to Liverpool did not come in to get off the ground and the Swede is in a transfer stand with the current club Newcastle United while the window is putting an end
Sweden Baas Jon Dahl Tomasson has warned people not too fast Alexander Isak and labeled the forward 'extremely professional'. The Newcastle star missed the opening match of the club of the season against Aston Villa while insisting on a move to Liverpool.
Isak has trained from the first Newcastle team after missing the pre-season tour on the side by Asia and seems to have indicated that he will no longer appear before the club. Eddie Howe has left the door open for that possibility despite the attitude of his indictment.
Liverpool had a bid of £ 110 million quickly rejected earlier in the summer and is ready to return for the player to encourage their Premier League rivals. Newcastle had previously stated that Isak was not for sale and reports suggested that they would like to see two strikers coming before they even had a deal.
Isak has arrived for some criticism of his approach in an attempt to force a movement, and now his international manager Tomasson has spoken to defend his indictment. The Sweden -Baas has already seen Viktor Gyokeres strike to facilitate a transfer this summer and has given its support to Isak, who can now get a fine.
Tomasson believes that critics should not pronounce before they know the full situation surrounding the decision of Isak.
He said to Photboll channels: “First of all: Alex is an extremely professional player. A fantastic character and personality. I spoke a lot with Alex during this period.
“Such situations are quite complex. These are extremely complex environments in which the players work. I am sure it will work out, but you have to know the whole picture before you draw conclusions. That is always a good tip.
“I don't think we know (the whole picture). I don't know the whole image either. It is very normal because there is a lot of political in a football club. But one thing is certain: Alex is a great guy and very professional. We all have to be very careful with drawing conclusions because we don't know the bigger picture.”
Tomasson will hope that ISAK is available for the next qualifying race of Sweden in qualifying roads against Slovnia and Kosovo, while the nation tries to make the tournament in the United States. However, the preparation of Isak so far has not been ideal.
He added: “There is time. He is a professional and I know he has trained. Of course he did not train with a team and did not play any matches. Let's wait. We will have a good conversation, Alex and I, and hopefully he will soon be back in team training. Of course we have thought about it.
“I want my best players available and he is a fantastic player. But I can't look in the future. It's impossible.”
