Alexander Isak has only trained in Newcastle while trying to force a move to Liverpool, in which Eddie Howe has explained the future of the striker, “fairly quickly” will be resolved “
Eddie Howe supported Alexander Isak to really thrive in the Premier League when he arrived three years ago – and the great performances of the Swede have since encouraged him to insist an exit from Newcastle. The striker has made it clear that he wants from Tyneside, where Liverpool leads the pursuit for his signature.
The ruling Premier League champions saw a range of £ 110 million a few weeks ago for the 25-year-old, although a follow-up bid still has to be delivered. Nevertheless, ISAK continues to train separately and it is reportedly promised to never turn out to the club again.
Earlier this week he ended his silence about the Transfersaga and launched a destructive attack on the club's hierarchy about “broken promises” in an explosive explanation. Newcastle hit back by stating that they “foresaw” every scenario in which Isak leaves, where Howe is still holding on to the hope for reconciliation with the attacker.
The Magpies Gaffer brought Isak to St. James' Park in 2022 in a then-club Record £ 63 million transfer and was unclear that the striker would flourish on English soil. Speaking then he stated: “He has pace, technical capacity, dribbling power.
“He has a little bit of the X factor about him. Alex is something else and I think he is able to score goals. He is technically very good and has a mix of qualities that I really like in a forward player.
“For such a young player he has thrown a lot of experiences at him, playing for big clubs in Germany [with Borussia Dortmund ]The Netherlands [Willem II] and Spain [Real Sociedad].
“The English game will match his profile. He is a really good athlete with a large number of things that go for him and are his best years for him. He is a very exciting signing for us.”
After having won 62 goals in 109 performances for the club, including touching the decisive blow in the Carabao Cup final in March against Liverpool, while it also flows back to the Champions League, there is little argument that he has proven a triumph for Tyneside.
Nevertheless, the bond between Isak and the club is dramatically acidified and now perhaps irreparable, Chronicle reports live. Although Howe maintained this week – prior to the Newcastle collision with Liverpool next Monday – a solution with regard to the future of the player would soon arise.
When speeches at the Friday press conference on Friday, Howe spoke about the circumstances of ISAK prior to the Transfer Deadline on Monday 1 September. The Newcastle manager said: “We love Alex in the sense of what he has done for this football club since he has been here, what he has given, what he has given, how professional he has been and this is just an unfortunate few months there is to put an end.
“And it will end pretty quickly and then we can concentrate on football again.”
Howe prepares his team for their first home game of the Premier League season, after the aimless draw last Saturday in Aston Villa. The upcoming match against Liverpool promises to be a charged meeting among the spotlight.
