Alexander Volkanovski bounced back from back-to-back losing on UFC 314 on Saturday, where he renovates his UFC-Fedweight title.
After brutal losses at Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria, fans began to worry about the trajectory of the career of Alexander Volkanovski.
Nevertheless, the UFC once again put their confidence in the 36-year-old when they booked him to fight Diego Lopes for the empty title on UFC 314 after Topuria left the title shockingly.
Volkanovski set up a vintage performance in Miami and took the decision to become the king of the 145LB division again.

When they came into the game, fans were worried about 'the great' and whether his chin would stand after brutal recent KO losing.
He and Makhachev had one of the best rivalry in recent MMA history, with their first fight as a razor in Australia. Since then, the two hunters at elite level have had nothing but respect for each other.
After the vintage performance of Volkanovski above Lopes, the lightweight champion, Makhachev, showed his respect for his former opponent, who gave him his most difficult fight in the UFC until this point.
“Congratulations legend,” Makhachev said in a post on his social media.
Volkanovski shockingly looking for a return in July
During his time as a UFC -Fedweight champion, the Australian was always one of the most active and he was always open because he wanted to be in the camp because his mental health would decrease if he wasn't.
His ruthless activity, however, was the most important reason for his devastating downfall, which makes his recovery recovering, especially considering his age.
Despite the activity that recently led to brutal losses, Volkanovski has revealed that he wants to make the first defense of his second title line in July and called on Movsar Evloev.
“September? If everything is fine, I would probably go faster than that, to be honest. That is probably the second fight, so if I am good, I might get a fight in July and then September, we can fit it, Movsar, if they want to do that, a quick reversal with Movsar if I don't have busted hands,” said people in the post-like press conference.
Although the 36-year-old has suffered some substantial damage against Lopes, he probably did not suffer broken bones, which means that a return in July is very possible.
