Islam Makhachev has been warned that if Chael Sonen wants his opinion, he will 'beat' it.
The former lightweight champion mocked courageous Sunen, Branding 'The Bad Guy' an 'average athlete' in recent days and stated that he only made a name for himself through 'cheap' waste. This insulted the American, who participated in UFC Gold in both middleweight and light heavyweight.
Makhachev's criticism followed on the claim of Sonen that his switch from lightweight to welterweight in the pursuit of a second title was a sign of 'cowardice'. It was expected that the Russian would take it against Ilia Topuria in a final fight during his already record -breaking run, but he has now left the belt and moved.

After Islam Makhachev mocked him as an 'average athlete' that only reached a place near the top of the UFC because of his capacities on the microphone, Chael Sonnen responded quickly. He tweeted a message to the Russian, and has since shared a video with a more pointed message.
“If you are tired of rolling around for bored crowds and pulling fewer viewers than a pig competition, please contact us,” Sonnen wrote in the first of four tweets in Makhachev. “You will not be the first man in your gym who begged me for material …”
“In fact,” he continued. 'It would not be the first time your husband [Khabib Nurmagomedov] and the other [Irish] boy [Conor McGregor] Both used material that they begged me to give them to become interesting … “

When in a later video posted on the social media channels of ESPN, Sonnen told Makhachev that he was his “Guardian Angel” and his “older brother.” He also warned the lightweight champion: “If I want your opinion, I'll beat you.”

The reason Makhachev was so angry with Sonen was a remark from the American about his decision to pursue the Welterweight title of Jack della Maddalena. It seems that 'the villain' is of the opinion that the fight to make Makhachev vs was topuria, which has now fallen along the road.
