Israel Adesanya shared a heart-warming run-in with Nassourdine Imavov after the UFC Saudi Arabia main event.
Former UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya extended the longest losing series of his MMA career in UFC Saudi Arabia on Saturday. Despite his last setback, he showed a brilliant example of backstage of sportiness when after their fight he crossed paths with Nassourdine Imavov.
Adesanya started a strong start against Imavov in round 1, where I would hit Imavov with stairs and timely boxing. But in round 2, Adesanya was caught with a huge shot of Imavov who dropped him before Imavov de Deal closed with brutal and pounds.
Imavov achieved the biggest victory of his career at UFC Saudi Arabia and is at the top of the middleweight title interview. In the meantime, Adesanya's first non-title fight since 2018 did not go according to plan.
It was a textbook of a young, hungry competitor who surpassed the decorated veteran when Imavov Adesanya defeated this weekend. Adesanya knows the position of Imavov very well after a memorable run to the UFC Middleweight title earlier in his career.
Adesanya ensured that Imavov gave his appropriate props shortly after their headliner fight.

Although Adesanya's future future remains uncertain, his greatness cannot be questioned. His post -fight sportiness is a good example for many emerging hunters to live with.
