Israel Adesanya makes precise prediction ahead of Alex Pereira’s fight with Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313

Alex Pereira's dual UFC rival Israel Adesanya gave an in-departure about how he sees the UFC 313 Main Event playing.

UFC Light heavyweight title holder Alex Pereira stands for what the most difficult test of his MMA career could be at UFC 313 this weekend. Magomed Ankalaev, who enters UFC 313 on a 13-fighter undefeated streak, is expected that Pereira can solve a difficult puzzle.

But Pereira is introducing UFC 313 with a lot of momentum after three successful defending defenses in 2024. If Pereira wins this weekend, he would become the fastest light heavyweight champion to defend the title four times (329 days), who surpassed Jon Jones.

Israel Adesanya and Pereira became warm after their four fights in their combat sport career. Adesanya is demonstrably more familiar with the skills and style of Pereira than anyone else on the UFC selection, and his opinions about Pereira's fights have a lot of merit.

In a recent upload to his Freestylebender YouTube channel, Adesanya shared his prediction for Pereira vs. Ankalaev.

“Shops, let's address the elephant in the room. That will be a factor in this fight, “Adesanya said about Pereira vs. Ankalaev. '[Ankalaev] Maybe a wrestler should be for this fight … I think ego is part of where he says what he wants to say to get the fight. Ankalaev is going to try to get him down … Can he keep it low? Pereira is now a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu; He gets better and better … Kicks are going to force Magomed to struggle.

“I'm going to Pereira because, momentum. He is now just in a tear, and I love the way he can do it with the amount of journeys he does … but Ankalaev, speed, he will have to catch Alex when he made a mistake. So counters, if he caught him on a counter, it can be a dangerous night. But I think he's going to kick leg, bone kicks, legs, left hook. Alex Pereira by Ko … he will eliminate him in the fourth or fifth round. “

Ankalaev struggled to prevent leg kicks, his first UFC title at UFC 282 against Jan Bachowicz. His legs curved several times in response to the stairs of Blachowicz and opened the door for Pereira to use his characteristic calf attacks.

Alex Pereira's pre-FUC 313 Travels interviewed by UFC Hall of Famer

Pereira has been busy to UFC 313. He has former middleweight title holder Sean Strickland on UFC 312 only a few weeks ago in Australia and traveled to several destinations during his interruption.

This gives UFC Hall by Famer Daniel Cormier reason for concern prior to UFC 313. Cormier wonders whether Pereira's hefty travel plans will influence his performance prior to UFC 313, especially against a rising competition such as Ankalaev.

Pereira denied Cormier's concerns prior to the UFC 313 and sent him a message on Instagram. Pereira told Cormier 'Don't worry, we work here with a clip from his training camp.

Another Van Pereira's former rivals, Jamahal Hill, picks him at UFC 313. Hill believes that Ankalaev Pereira can eliminate if he lands counters at the feet in ideal situations.

While Pereira is preparing for possibly the most difficult outing of his MMA career, Adesanya has his back and expects Pereira to retain the light heavyweight title on UFC 313.
