Israel Adesanya reflects on the flawless victory of Paddy Pimblett
Green will try to return this weekend in the win column against rising star Mauricio Ruffy.
Adesanya is especially enthusiastic about their fight, of which he is certain that it will be 'f – crazy'.
Before he started in his green versus Ruffy prediction, the future Hall of Famer took a time to emphasize the great work that Pimblett did to quickly eliminate an opponent who had predicted many people that it would beat him.
“I remember that fight was flawless and I was shocked,” said Adesanya.
“I thought Bobby would be the favorite to take that and then Paddy stole the show.”
What is the next step for Paddy Pimblett?
Pimblett fell $ 200,000 in bonus money for easily beating his heaviest opponent so far.
However, he recently received an even greater reward in the form of a fight with old competition Michael Chandler.
The 155LB duo will cancel on 14 April in a Co-Main event with five round at UFC 314 in Florida.
Pimblett hopes that a victory over Chandler can lead to a mega-money collision with Conor McGregor.
“Sounds very nice,” Pimblett said when he was asked for a fight with McGregor by round eight boxing.
“Many people have already said this to me:” Beat Chandler, take the McGregor fight. ”
“It is clear that it is the biggest fight in sport, the biggest fight we have ever seen.”
