Israël Adesanya shares his prediction for Dricus du Plessis vs. Khamzat Chimaev

During a recent breakdown on his YouTube channel, Adesanya revealed his prediction for the Main Event of UFC 319.

“I look at this fight in two ways: Khamzat comes out, gets a breakdown from DDP and just drags him in deep water in the first or second, and finishes him. Whether DDP fits his madman, Khamzat's crazy and his willingness not to stop, and then drags him in the third, fourth round and gets him from.

“Khamzat showed his hand, he is going after him from the start. But I think DDP will end the storm and will probably finish Khamzat later, because when it goes 3, 4, 5, it will be a problem.

“The UFC probably wants Khamzat champion because he is a man who brings a lot of eyes, says it and gets done type S – … he will get it done, he is just stubborn. Dry by Late Tko.”

One of the former opponents of Du Plessis, Darren Till, believes that Chimaev will do the job on UFC 319. He believes that the fight does not go beyond three rounds.

In anticipation of UFC 319, Du Plessis and Chimaev shared an interaction between Vechtweek that became viral and was worried about the opportunities of the title holder of the middleweight.

Dricus Du Plessis closes the size difference for breaking down the UFC 319

After Du Plessis and Chimaev came face to face in the Fighter Hotel in Chicago, fans pointed out that Chimaev looks considerably bigger than the champion prior to Fight Night. But Du Plessis closed those worries and believes that the images surpassed their measurements.

Du Plessis believes that Chimaev doubts his own cardiovascular endurance prior to UFC 319. Chimaev has worked out with the old conditioning coach of TJ Dillashaw, Sam Calavita, for UFC 319.

If Chimaev du Plessis in round 1 blitzes, this can tell the story how the fight goes. If Du Plessis can resist the early barrage, he would be well on his way to defend his title again.
