Israel Adesanya will hope that the saying 'Iron Slops Iron' Rinks True after his recent time training with UFC 316 Headliner Sean O'Malley.
Adesanya urgently needs a return to winning form in the Octagon, after a series of defeats that have left his time in sport.
Adesanya was recently eliminated by Nassourdine Imavov in the main event of UFC Saudi Arabia. The Frenchman made the former dual UFC Middleweight Champion the strong first round zero and invalid by closing the show in the second.
'The Last Stylebender' has now lost three in a row since his monumental Ko against Alex Pereira in April 2023. But the 35-year-old has still committed himself to another fight along the line.
And when he prepares for this, Adesanya will apparently do this with some extra knowledge and training approaches thanks to the man who has the emerging UFC 316 pay-per-view headline.

Israël Adesanya appreciates valuable training with Sean O'Malley
During a recent YouTube video, Adesanya described his time training with David Goggins, a retired navy stamp from the United States known for its extreme endurance.
But Goggins is not the only remarkable name with which the Nigerian New Zealander has collaborated.
Adesanya also posted images of training with O'Malley in April. And while he thinks about his time with 'Sugar' before releasing a vlog that describes it quickly, as a result, the middleweight teased new additions to his next Vechtkamp.
'[First time] Ring with him outside work around, and also being at his house and hanging around with him as a person, “said Adesanya.” I always knew and Sean, we are similar spirits.
“Being a striker, being a man who uses his range, uses Feints very well. We have similar flavors in the art of standing out.
“It was good to just tap him. [I picked up] Hope of things of him, “Adesanya went on.” I don't want to talk too much about some things, because I feel it's for me.
“He has done something that I am inspired.
O'Malley will challenge Merab Dvalishvili on UFC 316 after having received an immediate rematch after his defeat by the Georgian last September.
The next fight by Israel Adesanya could hit a familiar face
For now, Adesanya remains on the calendar without a date for his next UFC fight. But the former double champion knows what he wants.
In another YouTube video with goggins, Adesanya explained why he has a rematch with Sean Strickland this year.
I told Hunter [Campbell]I said to my coach, “Yes, it's time.” … I have the feeling with whom I want to fight, “said Adesanya.” Strickland, I'm going to get it back.
“I used to be bullied a lot as a child. He is an embodiment of this in the sense that he has attacked me, the inner child,. So I just want to protect him and go back for him.”
The second UFC title Reign from Adesanya came to a shocking stop in September 2023 through Strickland.
The American went to Australia to head UFC 293 as a considerable underdog, but had fans on their feet when he dropped Adesanya early in the Pay-per-view main event.
Strickland was then able to control the fight on the feet on the way to a crooked decision about the score cards, so that one of the greatest title disorders in the UFC history was marked.
