Israël Adesanya expects fireworks when Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O'Malley close the show at UFC 316.
The Bantamweight Title Rematch of Dvalishhvili and O'Malley will head the Pay-per-View event on Saturday in Newark, New Jersey, Koppen.
The Georgian champion wants to successfully defend his Kroon for the second time since he won this against 'Sugar' on UFC 306 in the atmosphere in September 2024.
After Dvalishvili Umar Nurmagomedov defeated UFC 311, he again crosses paths with O'Malley, while the native Montana is looking for revenge and an immediate return to the throne.
Israël Adesanya supports Sean O'Malley to spend Merab Dvalishvili
In the run -up to UFC 316, O'Malley has advertised an injury and diversion -free Vechtkamp as the root of his high confidence.
O'Malley has eliminated “negative” habits such as social media and smoking, and a complete recovery of hip surgery has enabled him to fully train wrestling this time.
One of the figures that have seen the positive impact of those changes in the first hand is Adesanya, who spent a short time and hang out with the former Bantam weight champion.
Whatever 'The Last Stylebender' saw, it was enough for him to predict 'and new' Come Fight Night in Newark.
“Me and Sean, we are cool. He reminds me of myself,” said Adesanya. “He doesn't even smoke what he does … I see the way he really takes this seriously.
“He did the work. He lived the Stoic, the boring life for this fight … and it shows when you hang out with him, you can see it.
“It's a hard fight, but I'm going to go Sean O'Malley. Because I believe, I believe, I believe, man,” Adesanya continued. “Just see the work that he did this camp, not only in the gym, the stuff outside the gym.
“It will be the return to 'The Suga Show'. Knockout, round two.”
Sean O'Malley coach shared a gorier forecast
The O'Malley coach shared a similar prediction, only with some extra bloody details.
During a video that was uploaded to his YouTube channel, Tim Welch outlined his team for O'Malley to lay a bloody Beatdown on Dvalishvili in the Prudential Center on 7 June.
“It will be a war,” Welch said. “We are planning to be a 25 -minute battle, but I see Sean cutting his face.
“I see him cutting his face. Merab shoots at the wrong time. Merab may be wrapped by a shot, a shot at the wrong time, kneels in the middle of the lips, maybe until the beak.
“(O'Malley) knees are mouth, hurts Merab. Boom, Boom, Boom … Boom. And he just starts to settle and bang. Tko, Sugar Show gets it done. He is another champion,” Welch added.
That description is very similar to how O'Malley the victory came from his last Rematch.
'Sugar' Heavily damaged Marlon Vera with a brutal knee on his way to a crooked five -round decision victory at UFC 299 in Miami. O'Malley's the result marked the only successful preservation of the title.
O'Malley will now be aimed at keeping his perfect record intact before he is looking for a longer stint on the Bantam weight throne second time.
