Israel Adesanya has had a number of great rivalry during his time in the UFC.
Some of his feuds may not have come to a conclusion with Adesanya who focuses on a rematch with Sean Strickland for his octagonal return.
However, if there is one opponent who is linked to the former dual UFC champion of the UFC, it is Alex Pereira.
The two men can be on good terms at this stage in their career, because Pereira recently congratulates the UFC Hall of Fame induction from Adesanya.
When 'Patan' arrived in the UFC for the first time, fans dreamed of seeing him encountering Adesanya after their history in kickboxing, which eventually led them both to UFC 276.

Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira would continue their iconic feud in the Octagon Na UFC 276
On this day in 2022, UFC 276 closed the International Vechtweek in Las Vegas and set up one of the greatest rivalry in the history of sport.
Before both men understood their way to the UFC, Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira had already confronted twice with kickboxing, where both times 'Patan' came out the victory.
Adesanya achieved great success as the middleweight champion of the UFC before his rival finally followed and joined him at the schedule of the promotion.
Both men were in action at UFC 276, where their results could possibly set up a huge middleweight title fight between two iconic rivals.
That is exactly what happened, where Pereira set the stage for Adesanya after he had eliminated Sean Strickland in the first round to prove that he was a legitimate competition for 185 pounds.
While the successful defending defense of the champion against Jared Cannonier was largely forgetic, the 'The Last Stylebender' created to call his former opponent in his interview after the fight, referring to his earlier losses to the Brazilian.
“Look, we know who the next is, that 'Poatan'. Believe me, the first time I told you, it was a mistake on my part, spamed right hand and that was in kickboxing … As I said at the press conference, the next time I put you on skating, you will be frozen like Elsa. I will leave it.”
Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira clashed into an iconic title fight on UFC 281
After both men came through UFC 276 with victories, Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira were booked to face each other on UFC 281 in November 2022.
The defensive champion middleweight claimed that he had wounded 'Patan' in the past, he would not leave him off the hook this time.
Despite the fact that Pereira hurt early in the fight, the challenger was able to recover, although Adesanya was paramount on the score cards in the fifth and final round.
The need for a knockout, that is exactly what Pereira did when the dangerous Finisher stopped his rival to end the remarkable title of Adesanya and to crown a new UFC -Superster.
On UFC 287 in April, the two elite attackers ran back, where Adesanya finally got revenge by reclaiming the middleweight belt by stopping 'Patan' in the second round.
