After a short recess, the UFC returns to our scenes this weekend for a stacked fighting evening event in Saudi Aarabia, led by former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

The map may have been built around 'The Last Stylebender', but the event still has a whole series of well -known names, including Shara 'Bullet' Magomedov, Michael 'Venom' page and Sergei Pavlovich.

However, the event reportedly lost one of its other main map break after one of the athletes had experienced an unknown problem with his passport and/or travel documentation.

Andre Muniz vs Ikram Aliskerov reportedly from UFC Saudi -Arabia -card

Unfortunately, only a week from UFC Fight Night: Adesanya vs Imavov, reports are now circulating that the main map of the middle weight fight between Andre Muniz and Ikram Aliskerov unfortunately has been canceled.

According to a statement shared by Muniz on his Instagram page, and translated via MMA Junkie, the Brazilian has experienced an unknown problem with his passport and unable to travel to Riyad.

“Unfortunately, neither I neither knew nor my team nor the UFC on time to let us know, and I could not go through the whole process to get this document.

“The UFC thought it would be better to move my fight with the same opponent, but it still cost a date. I am waiting for you to set the date immediately, and that's it. “

Muniz did not disclose which event the UFC is now aiming at that fight.

This is the second time that Muniz versus Aliskerov has been booked and then canceled; The two were originally ready to face each other last summer before Muniz withdrew with a foot injury.

He was replaced by Antonio Trocoli, where Aliskerov was eventually taken out of that match to fill in the sick Khamzat Chimaev against Robert Whittaker the next week-'The Reaper' won that fight via a first round knockout.

Although it is a shame that Muniz versus Aliskerov has been canceled for the second time, fans are still standing up for a great evening of MMA promotion in Saudi Arabia on 1 February.
