Pereira has looked so impressive that even Oleksandr usyk wants a piece from him.
However, he may not be able to continue to compete as long as he would like if the worries of Sonnen are valid.

Chael Sonnen does not like that Alex Pereira does not wear a headgear
In order to scale both the glory and the UFC mountains, Alex Pereira had to sharpen his vessel in the gym for countless hours.
In a new sparring clip, however, the Brazilian does not wear anything to protect his head, which has alert Chael Sonen.
In a video worked out to his YouTube channel, 'The American Gangster' explained: “So, Pereira turns this sparring video out, and he is sitting there with a professional boxer, and the man is very good. There was no head cover – it disturbs it me.
“I came through the era where we really believed that the harder you were in practice, the more you could take the ring.
“Randy Couture was the captain in the gym that I came through – he never wore headwear. Randy never became fried eggs; He never got CTE. Randy, however, preached controlled sparring, took care of your opponent.
“When I met Clayton hiring, there was a day that I forgot my headgear; It just wasn't in my bag. He sent me home.
“Randy's point was perfect, but Randy made me a huge favor by ensuring that I always had my protective equipment.
“If I look at Alex Pereira sparring, logically, I cannot accept that that time will be added to his career, that he will be better.
“I want Alex to wear headgear; I don't know what to do. “

Now Pereira is reunited with the prospect and discovered the fantastic news that he had won his fight against cancer.
