‘It sucks’… Jon Jones accuses the UFC of ‘holding up’ the heavyweight division in damning statement

The UFC Heavyweight Titelsaga between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall apparently has drawn a damn conclusion, whereby Jones blamed the promotion.

UFC fans with Jon Jones have been left behind for a few months after he has constantly delayed a potential unification of the title against Tom Aspinall.

UFC boss Dana White continued to try to maintain the positivity between the fan base, and claims on various occasions that the fight would happen '100%', despite the antics of Jones.

This Friday, however, the Saga came to a damn conclusion after 'Bones' apparently confirmed his retirement of the UFC with a thread of messages on social media.

Jones accuses the UFC of 'retaining' the heavyweight division

The UFC Heavyweight Champion is currently in Thailand, where he films a Russian reality TV series, the equivalent of the ultimate hunter.

In an attempt to kill some time, Jones went to X next Friday, where he constantly responded to fans who criticized him because he dived the Brit.

In a more damn explanation, however, the old UFC star accused the UFC of being those who hold the heavyweight division, stating that he told them about his plans long ago.

“I spoke with the UFC a long time ago about what my future plans were,” Jones began to explain.

“I have not really worked out since my last fight in New York City. To be honest, I believe that it was in the best interest of the UFC to continue to present me as the company's champion – not Tom.

“I just played the role of company man by doing nothing at all … and holding the position. And to be honest it was incredibly lucrative. I have earned more money with Tom as an interim champion than Tom himself.

“It sucks to see that the rest of the division is being delayed in this way, but that has nothing to do with me. I don't pull the strings,” Jones continued.

Jones claims that the recent heavyweight Saga will not affect its estate

It cannot be denied that Jones will fall as perhaps the greatest hunter of all time, but unfortunately the recent heavyweight Saga will not benefit its estate.

Nevertheless, the 37-year-old argued that despite the fought of Aspinall, although the UFC fan base has called for it, the estate will not affect his estate.

“That is the problem with some young men, you think your last result is your estate. That is why when many of you fail, you cannot find the power to return.

“But here is the truth: your legacy is not your last step. Legacy is what none of you can take. It is built over time, not defined by a single victory or loss,” he claimed.
