“It’s crazy” – Vinicius Junior fumes at referee decision during Real Betis defeat

Real Madrid had a very frustrating evening on Saturday. They not only lost 2-1 at Real Betis, but they are now in third place in the rankings of La Liga after Atletico Madrid went beyond them thanks to a 1-0 win at home at Athletic Club.

The defeat against Betis was very poor for Real Madrid, because they were just not good enough at the Benito Villamarin. After taking the lead within the opening of 10 minutes, they struggled to tackle the home team, who were looking for the victory of goals of Johnny Cardoso and former Los Blancos star Isco Alarcon.

Real Madrid's attacking talent could not have an impact on betis. Apart from scoring, Brahim was quiet before he was replaced by Arda Guler. Kylian Mbappe was unable to leave his stamp for an early replacement, where Carlo Ancelotti commented on after the full -time whistle in Sevilla. Rodrygo Goes was also not effective, and the same could be said for Vinicius Junior, who was only successful in four of his 11 attempted dribbles.

The frustration of Vinicius cooked in the 86th minute when he received a yellow card from referee Alejandro Hernandez Hernandez for different opinions. When he was warned, the Brazilian attacker made his feelings clear when receiving the booking.

'It's crazy … crazy! Of course, certainly. As usual. For me it is always a card. It is always a card for Vini. Always. Always.”

They are now six yellow cards for Vinicius in La Liga, as well as one red card he received at the beginning of January against Valencia. Ill-Discipline is something that the 24-year-old has regularly been struck in recent years, and Real Madrid will hope that he can prevent him from receiving no more than three bookings between now and the end of the La Liga season, not to make any other suspension.
