‘It’s done, but’… Dana White provides update on Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall UFC unification clash

Dana White insists that there is no major problem with keeping the largest UFC fight of 2025.

Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, who is generally considered the greatest hunter in the MMA history, is locked up in conversations for a collision with interim title holder, Tom Aspinall, since the elimination of Stipe Miocic on UFC 309 in November.

A few months later an official announcement still has to be made and Aspinall is 'bored' of waiting.

Dana White, however, ensures that everything is in order and the battle confirmation that everyone craves at, comes in the not too distant future.

Jon Jones announces enormous career movement

While White and Aspinall keep talking the heavyweight unification fights, Jones remains silent.

The 37-year-old, however, has announced a huge career movement that will see him join Mike Perry.

On Friday it was revealed that Jones became co-owner of Perry's Combat Sports Promotion, Dirty Boxing Championship.

The promotion held its inaugural event last November, behind closed doors, as a former UFC star, Yoel Romero achieved a victory in their very first main event.

Jones was present for the event and gave a shocked reaction to Romero's Ko.

“I was addicted to the first show,” he said TMZ Sports.

“I believe that this will be a powerhouse of combat sports. I am proud to sign my name next to it,”
