Jack della Maddalena offers an injury update after vacation for shock title

After Jack della Maddalena recorded the UFC Welterweight title on UFC 315 last weekend, his first title defense was set almost immediately after he was sent a warning message by Makhachev.

Della Maddalena then started a conversation with Dana White and asked if the fight could take place in Perth, from which White claimed 'we are working on it'.

Because Makhachev has now left its 155 pound title and has only fought once this year, the Russian probably hopes to return to action as soon as possible.

And with that the newly crowned Australian champion has provided an injury update and stated if he would like to defend his title against the 32-year-old.

“There are no plans yet, but yes, I think we will come back there within the next four to five months, I believe, a point halfway through the end of the year we will start something,” Della Maddalena told Fox Sports Australia.

“Hopefully we get in soon, because I feel pretty good,” he went on.

The manager of Islam Makhakevee claims that he will fight for the title this year, whatever happens

Despite the fact that Della Maddalena would like to come back after his title profit after his title profit, Ali Abdelaziz, the manager of Makhachev, claimed that Makhachev will fight this year for the title of 170 pounds, whatever happens.

Abdelaziz has stated that if Della Maddalena is not ready, he will be stripped by the UFC.

“Islam will fight this year, regardless of whether Della Maddalena is wounded or not injured, this is what I was told by Dana, Hunter (Campbell), everyone. They said that Jamahal Hill was injured, we (stripped him) … Islam will fight for the title, and for the real, the interim, said the interim.

Fortunately, with the eagerness of Della Maddalena to fight, there should be no problems to make the battle between him and Makhachev.
