Jack Della Maddalena reacts to Joe Rogan snubbing UFC 315 commentary gig

Jack della Maddalena is not too worried about who will be in the comment boat for the biggest fight of his career to date.

The UFC Welterweight -Competent was originally planned to compete against Leon Edwards in UFC London last March, but he was surprisingly upgraded to fight Belal Muhammad for the title on UFC 315.

Prior to his title fight on 10 May, Jack della Maddalena has been to the headlines for an unfortunate reason, because his team started a fundraising to pay for travel costs for all members of his team.

Of course Muhammad took the opportunity to mock the challenger and stated that he would help with the costs before he changed mind after Della Maddalena had predicted a first round knockout.

Jack della Maddalena comments on Joe Rogan.

Bizarely, one of the biggest points about the fight between Della Maddalena and Belal Muhammad, but the entire UFC 315 event is that Joe Rogan is not part of the commentary team.

During a recent episode of his podcast, the Joe Rogan experience, Rogan admitted that he will not travel to Canada to comment on the fighting, which caused a little controversy.

Although it is generally known that Rogan is not traveling for international events, it was not clear whether Canada falls into the same category.

“I won't be there, I'm not going to Canada anymore, I don't do that. I'd rather go to Russia,” said Rogan.

“I mean, I think, I don't know, Joe, I think he just stays in front of the US, pretty sure, but that's good, it doesn't matter, they will have a number of good commentators there, but yes, as long as the team is there, I will be happy,” Maddalena will respond during an interview with Main Event TV.

Della Maddalena compares Muhammad's 'boring style' with Georges St-Pierre

Earlier this year, the two hunters came face-to-face at the press conference on sale and things remained respectful for the most of the event.

Nevertheless, Della Maddalena and the champion have since made a few comments on each other, which have somewhat heated the structure of their fight.

'Remember the name' is generally criticized by the UFC fan base because he is a 'boring' champion because of his fighting style and personality.

The Aussie largely agrees with that idea, despite comparing him with the greatest good weight ever, Georges St-Pierre.

“There is no doubt that he has a boring fighting style, he is good at holding people and gaining victories, honest play for him, GSP has some mistakes for a boring style the first day.

“I definitely think it's a boring style … I feel that I can beat him, I am certainly a more dangerous hunter, and I think I can get the world title from a dominant finish,” said Della Maddalena.
