Jack Grealisk has placed a sincere tribute to his teammate of Manchester City Kevin De Bruyne after the Belgian announced that he would leave the club at the end of the season.
In Instagram, in response to the announcement of De Bruyne, Grealish, 29, wrote: 'One of the reasons why I came to City was to play next to your brother!.
'The best I have ever had the pleasure of playing with it. Legend! #Kevindebruyne '.
It was accompanied by a collage of the photo that the two players showed together in different snaps, both on and outside the field.
Grealisk registered five goals and 11 assists in that campaign when he became a crucial player in attack.
De Bruyne was in a good form of his own form and contributed 10 goals and a remarkable 29 assists in all competitions to help Guardiola's side to only become the second English team that won a domestic and European Treble.
De Bruyne (33, 33 revealed his decision in an emotional letter to fans, wrote: 'Dear Manchester, who sees this, you probably realize where this is going. So I will go there immediately and let you all know that this will be my last months as a player in Manchester City.
'Nothing of this is easy to write, but as football players we all know that this day will eventually come. That day is here and you deserve to hear from me first.
'Football led me to all of you – and to this city. Having this dream, not knowing that this period would change my life. This city. This club. These people … gave me everything. I had no choice but to give everything back! And guess what – we won everything.
'Whether we like it or not, it's time to say goodbye. Suri, Rome, Mason, Michele and I are all grateful for what this place has meant for our family. “Manchester” will forever be on the passports of our children – and more importantly, in each of our hearts.
