Jack Grealish transfer statement made by Pep Guardiola after FA Cup Final snub

Manchester City has spent £ 100 million to sign Jack Grealish van Aston Villa four years ago, but is in the pecking order in the Etihad Stadium and has only made seven Premier League Start this season

Pep Guardiola has said that a decision will be made about the future of Jack Grealish's Future in Manchester City at the end of the season. The international English international, signed for £ 100 million four years ago, has fallen the pecking order in the Etihad Stadium since its leading role in the triple campaign 2023.

The 29-year-old made this period only seven Premier League-Start and was not called from the bank during the FA Cup FA Cup defeat on Saturday against Crystal Palace. That has fueled speculation that he could move this summer.

But Guardiola insists that nothing has been established yet and there will be discussions between the departing director of Voetbal Txiki Begiristain, his successor Hugo Viana and the representatives of the player.

Guardiola said: “We didn't talk, I didn't talk to him. People don't believe me, but these things are from the agents and the club and Txiki, and in this case also Hugo. Both will decide. What will happen will happen, but he has to come back to play minutes again.”

Guardiola accepts Grealisk, who has two years about his contract, will not be happy with his lack of action.

He said: “It is not (only) jacket. There is no player in my dressing room, and I think that all changing rooms around the world are happy (when they do not play). If the team wins and win, they have to find out how everything happens – but they are not happy.

“They are here to play and if they don't play, they are not satisfied. That is the normal position in all clubs.”

A player who absolutely leaves is Kevin De Bruyne, who will make his last home area for the club in the Premier League collision on Tuesday with Bournemouth.

The 33-year-old no longer has a contract this summer and will leave after a glorious decade in the Etihad Stadium in which he won 16 trophies, including two Premier League titles and the Champions League.

Guardiola admits that he will be a difficult action to follow, but, despite the other beliefs of the Belgian, it is convinced that time is good.

He said: “There are players who are really difficult to replace – really, very difficult for many reasons. We know that, but the season we have done is the season we did and we can't deny it. Of course we have to go on.”
