Jadon Sancho at centre of transfer tussle between two European giants as Man United try to cut losses on £73m flop

Jadon Sancho is said to be the target of the Italian clubs Juventus and Napoli while the winger wants to end his miserable enchanting at Manchester United.

The 25-year-old came to United in 2021 for £ 73 million after excel in Borussia Dortmund, but only four years later they want to reduce their losses and they rated it at £ 25 million.

Sancho has scored only nine Premier League goals for the Red Devils and never recovered from a public spit with Erik ten Hag, which shipped him to Dortmund on loan last year.

Last season he received Chelsea Leende when his stock in Old Trafford continued to fall.

The international of England scored in the final of the Conference League, but also underwent a mixed season and the blues refused to permanently sign him for £ 25 million, although they had to pay a fine of £ 5 million to send him back to Manchester.

The winger is looking for a United Exit route and Juventus has now investigated a deal, while Napoli remains interested, according to Sky Sports.

Sancho, who has only passed on his contract for a year, has to take a considerable wage reduction to complete a move to Italy.

He reportedly agreed personal conditions with Napoli, but United's questions was considered too high for the Italian champions.

If Sancho completed a move to Napoli, he would be in line with the former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and next to a large number of former Premier League players.

Former United midfielder Scott McTominay was called the Serie A player of the season, while former striker Romelu Lukaku and Billy Gilmour also played when Napoli only won their second competition title in 35 years.

Despite his success in the past in Germany, Dortmund does not want to offer him a route from Manchester.

Last week Dortmund's sports director Sebastie Kehl excluded a move.

“Of course there is always a kind of contact with Jadon because of the long history we share, but at the moment Jadon is not a subject for us,” he said.

Sancho is said to be banned from the pre-season tour from United to the US if he has not found a new club by that time.

The outcast will be forced to only train in Carrington when the tour starts in July, while Ruben Amorim wants to exercise his authority at the club.
