Jadon Sancho is one of the five players who are excluded from Manchester United's pre -season plans and the wing player of England is desperate to secure an exit after he has been frozen by Ruben Amorim
Manchester United Massfit Jadon Sancho would be willing to take a wage reduction of 50 percent on his eye-water salary at Old Trafford to secure a move to his former club, Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho joined United in the summer of 2021 in a £ 73 million deal from Dortmund, but has trouble meet expectations and has fallen out of grace among both Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim.
Last season he was borrowed from Chelsea, but his form suffered from Stamford Bridge when he only scored three Premier League goals from 19 Topvluchtstart.
And in a brutal end to his enchantment with the blues, the London side chose not to make his move permanent for £ 25 million – instead to pay a fine of £ 5 million to send him back to United.
Sancho has since been dropped, apart from the Amorim team and forced to only train as part of the “Bomb Squad” in their Carrington complex.
He is strongly connected to a move to Juventus, but news on that front has become cold. Now report reports from the German Outlet Bild report that he has had initial conversations about a possible return to Dortmund.
Sancho already enjoyed a successful return to the Bundesliga side on loan for the second part of the 2023-24 season, where he scored three times and led the team to the Champions League final. And another season in Signal Iduna Park could now be on the cards, said with Sancho to insist on the move.
The report adds that Sancho is willing to take a huge wage reduction to seal his return to Dortmund and even consider his current £ 275,000 a week to drop salary by half. Sancho is supposed to have spoken with Dortmund Chiefs Lars Ricken and Sebastian Kehl in the hope of sealing the transfer and ending his exile in Old Trafford.
Sancho is one of the five players left from the Pre -season tour of United by the United States, who joins Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Marcus Rashford – which has since been signed for Barcelona.
Amorim said that the thinking behind the exclusion of the group of players was to give them more time to think about their future and said they would join the team if they would not find new clubs.
“We just allow these players to think and decide,” he said. “If we reach a point where they have to come to the team, they will participate because they are our players. I know that Jason, Omar and the club have a song for these players.”
