Jake Paul breaks silence after IShowSpeed is offered enormous eight-figure payday to fight him

Jake Paul carries an all-powerful target on his back after outsmarting a faded version of the once formidable Mike Tyson last Friday.

The 27-year-old powered to a big unanimous decision victory in eight two-minute rounds in front of 70,000 fans at AT&T Stadium, Texas, this weekend.

Not only that, but over 60 million additional viewers watched Netflix's first-ever live boxing event, culminating in Paul and Tyson's mind-numbing showdown.

And now, despite nearly putting fans to sleep with his performance against Mike Tyson, Jake Paul is seemingly on the verge of securing another lucrative boxing fight.

Jake Paul responds to IShowSpeed calling him out after Mike Tyson's win

Since beating Tyson, Paul has been called out by several notable names from the world of combat sports and entertainment.

Former world super middleweight champion Carl Froch, for example, has claimed he would finish the social media star in 30 seconds.

Undisputed light heavyweight king Artur Beterbiev has also eyed a feud with Paul, giving the American the chance to test his skills against an active and even hateful professional boxer.

Meanwhile, IBF world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois even added his name to the conversation, with Paul welcoming the potential match in his immediate response.

A clash with YouTube sensation IShowSpeed may be the most bizarre option of all.

Taking to social media, the internet star claimed he would beat Paul after six months of boxing training, with Most Valuable Promotions co-founder Nakisa Birdarian offering the 19-year-old a $20 million payday in response.

Jake Paul turns down a possible fight against IShowSpeed

Paul has insisted that his ultimate goal is to become world champion, which means he may face active boxers rather than former UFC fighters and 58-year-old legends.

And so a showdown against IShowSpeed – someone who is not only significantly smaller than him, but also incredibly inexperienced – wouldn't be the wisest option.

However, Paul appears to have called the YouTuber's bluff.

In the comments section of The Bread Batch's Instagram post – which revealed Birdarian's outrageous offer to IShowSpeed – Paul wrote: “Speed knows better. My husband definitely played.”
