Nakisa Bidarian provides update on possible fight between Jake Paul and KSI
While fans around the world would love to see Jake Paul and KSI finally enter the ring together, it seems unlikely that the match will happen anytime soon.
It seems like the main obstacle standing in the way of signing contracts is the weight the fight would take place with.
Unfortunately, it seems like the American team isn't too happy with the idea of losing weight.
Nakisa Bidarian of Most Valuable Promotions has explained why the Cleveland fighter won't compromise unless an astronomical sum is on the table.
WOW: Jean-Claude Van Damme gave Rico Verhoeven some incredible advice
In an interview with Fred Talks Fighting he said: “Cruiserweight. Simple. The fight is over. Your opponent may weigh 167-200 pounds. Canelo Alvarez will never tell Jake Paul, “You have to cut to fight me,” because he has the cajones to go in there and “beat this guy up.”
“The discussion about it will never happen because ASI is not 200; it just means you don't want to go into battle. There is no reason; there is no desire for Jake Paul to lose weight to fight KSI.
“That said, if KSI showed up and said, 'Here's a guaranteed $100 million for Jake Paul,' we would definitely consider it.
'But we are the A-side here. We organize the biggest events in the world, and no one has come to us with an offer like that.”
Fans are reacting to Nakisa Bidarian's comments about Jake Paul not losing weight due to the KSI clash
Unsurprisingly, the stance hasn't gone down too well with fans, with an army of users taking to social media to voice their opinions.
One said: “100 meters to lose weight. What world does he live in? These people make too many demands and are unwilling to compromise. There's no point.”
Another claimed: “They both found every possible reason for this fight not to happen.”
A third added: “This is why Jake is dodging, lol. Apparently KSI is not putting in enough money.”
