Jake Paul's newest veiled shot on Canelo Alvarez was quickly checked.
The return from Jake Paul to the boxing ring takes place against a former champion and the son of an icon, preparing for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on 28 June. This marks Paul's first fight since the beating of heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson in November.
Prior to what could be the most difficult test of Paul's boxing career, he is still angry about how a negotiated collision with Canelo Alvarez fell apart earlier this year. Paul and Alvarez were in the final phase of negotiating a huge fight this summer before the Riyadh season, and Turki Alshikh signed Alvarez for a Multi-Fight Deal.
Since the fight of Alvarez vs. Paul fell apart, Paul made repeated shots at the Mexican superstar, also in the run -up to his collision with one of the former enemies of Alvarez.

At the moment, neither Alvarez have nor Chavez responded to Paul's comments. Alvarez and Chavez went earlier in their career in 2017, with Alvarez nodded on all three scor cards of the jury.
