Jake Paul heard ‘crickets’ from Floyd Mayweather after making fight offer

Jake Paul and his manager accused Floyd Mayweather of spinning them on an earlier fighting offer, just a few days after Mayweather claimed that he had sent 10-20 offers.

Floyd Mayweather and the Paul brothers have an extensive history that goes back to when Mayweather Logan Paul came across in an exhibition in 2021. Four years later, Mayweather and Jake Paul go to a potential boxing conflict.

Paul and Mayweather are two of the most polarizing personalities in boxing history. After Paul and Mayweather came into a heated fight prior to the Logan Paul/Mayweather -fight, the two parties seemed destined for a booking.

Mayweather repeatedly rejected Paul as an 'easy fight' when asked to show a fight. The 50-0 professional boxer switched to exhibitions after his retirement in 2017.

But after Paul Mayweather accused him of diving, Famer's Boxing Hall felt forced to hit back.

The Jake Paul team responds to the claim of Floyd Mayweather's '10 offers'

During a recent interview with US Weekly, Mayweather responded to Paulus' allegations.

“We probably offered Jake Paul the fight 10 or 20 times and he has rejected us,” said Mayweather about Paul. “So that's bull —.”

Paul and his team quickly responded to the allegations of Mayweather and quickly denied the story that they were those who made a booking.

In a recent Instagram remark, Paul's manager Nakisa Bidarian responded to the claims of Mayweather.

“He didn't say that!” Bidarian said. “They have never sent us a contract / offer. We sent Floyd an offer once a long time ago and everything we heard were crickets.”

Paul needs an opponent for his next fight after a targeted booking against Canelo Alvarez fell apart in the last stages of negotiations. Mayweather has not fought anymore since he went the distance with John Gotti III last year.

Paul has no longer appeared in the ring since a unanimous decision last year wins on heavyweight legend Mike Tyson. He was reflected from his loss from the first career to Tommy Fury in 2023 with five consecutive victories, including recent victories over the former UFC-Superster Nate Diaz and Bare Knuckle FC star Mike Perry.

Paul also focuses on a potential MMA debut in 2025 with the PFL, although it is uncertain when that will take place in the middle of Paul's negotiations for his next boxing fight. A rematch with anger is on the table for his next booking.

As far as Logan is concerned, he has not participated in the Ring since a disqualification gain on Dillon Danis in 2023. He focuses on a return to the boxing ring later this year.
