Jake Paul proved Dana White wrong by beating the UFC legend
To the annoyance of Dana White, the early record of Jake Paul was built on victories over UFC legends.
Ben Askren was stopped for two minutes before Tyron Woodley was eliminated by one shot cold.
A new potential opponent for Paul appeared when Anderson Silva crossed to boxing and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. And beat Tito Ortiz.
“I guarantee this,” said White in September 2021. “You're not going to see Jake Paul calling Anderson Silva, that I am promising.”
13 months later, Paul Silva dropped on his way to a unanimous decision victory in his heaviest test so far.
After the fight, 'The Problem Child' was quickly white about the comments he had made before.
“Dana, Dana, Dana,” said Paul during a press conference. “Bro, you said I wouldn't do this and I did it with flag and pennant.
“But he hides and tries to do everything he can to stop my run and sabotage my fighting.
“He hates me, he hates what I do, he hates that I expose his business.”
