Jake Paul has released a photo of the moment he suffered a horror injury that threatened to cancel the biggest fight of the year.

Jake Paul suffered a horror injury before Mike Tyson fought
As part of his preparations to face Mike Tyson in November, Jake Paul was forced to move up to heavyweight, having previously competed at mid-range at cruiserweight throughout his career. He ended up weighing a whopping 227 pounds, over 40 pounds higher than his fight with Tommy Fury.
And ultimately, that weight may have played a role when he was injured during training. He has now shared a photo from the moment it happened, among his highlights from an otherwise impressive 2024.
After the fight at a press conference he told the media about the incident: “Two weeks ago I sprained my ankle, completely tore the ligaments and the anterior ligaments and broke the other side of my foot and was on crutches for four or five days. .
“It just hindered the end of my training camp. I don't know how it didn't get leaked or something. I missed about two weeks of sparring so my cardio didn't feel that good tonight.”

Despite the injury, Paul managed to survive the night of the fight and get through a controversial fight. Tyson, at 58, looked forward all those years as he worked toward the final bell.
Paul seemed to ease the pressure as the rounds progressed, and the fight ended in a damp swoop, much to the chagrin of a record viewership of over 100 million. He later claimed to have carried Tyson instead of pushing for a knockout.

When asked if he had 'carried' Tyson, Paul replied: 'Yes, definitely. Certainly a little. I wanted to give the fans a show, but I didn't want to hurt anyone who didn't need to be hurt.”
He also noted that it was difficult to make a fight exciting with a man who was clearly struggling to get through the eight rounds. it's hard to make it exciting.
“So I couldn't really get him to engage me or take pictures and do something super cool or whatever, but I don't care what people have to say. They will always have something to say and that is what it is.
