In an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, Flores reminisced about his craziest story, explaining, “One of my friends from Las Vegas, who worked with him, called me on December 23 and said, 'We're in Big Bear, We're training for a battle with AnesonGib. Can you be here tomorrow?
“I had no plans to do anything other than party and have fun at Christmas; Next thing you know, I'm driving to Big Bear the next day, I'm there, five weeks later we're fighting Gib, and the rest is history.

Long before he ever had his first world title fight, Flores flew to Mexico to hone his craft in one of the toughest countries in the world.
With ambitions to become a legend of the sport, the American began training in the same gym as one of the greatest boxers the world has ever seen.
