Jake Paul's dedication to Boxing could be the turning point this Saturday in his fight with former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
YouTuber boxer Paul is strongly favored to beat Chavez JR, who is a former middleweight world champion with victories over Andy Lee. The 54-6-1 boxer is a son of a legend in Julio Cesar Chavez, but is supposed to have considered his natural talent over the years.
At the age of 39 and Balond to Cruiserweight from his best days on 160LB, Chavez Jr is clearly beyond his best. And experienced boxing analyst Max Kellerman believes that the fight is another example of Paul that makes a fight that looks good on paper, but is in fact a very favorable matchup.
Max Kellerman explains why Jake Paul Julio Cesar beats Chavez Jr
Jake Paul has succeeded in making all his fighting exciting glasses, at least before he actually gets in the ring. His meeting with Mike Tyson was a historical and record-breaking event that even crashed Netflix servers, but was unable to deliver as soon as the punches actually started flying.
But Max Kellerman, who has been an analyst in boxing in almost every big broadcaster for years, believes that he is just a good seller. And in an exclusive chat with Bloody Elbow he confirmed that he feels that Julio Cesar Chavez Jr is another opponent who looks good to the actual fight itself.

“I don't know,” Kellerman replied when he was asked who he thinks would win the fight. “Jake Paul is very good at promoting fights that conquer the imagination of the public. But he does that by choosing opponents where you would be as” Oh, maybe he loses this “.
“But Jake is a dedicated hunter and Chavez Jr has not been. This is although Chavez JR participated in a much higher level in boxing. But Jake is dedicated and the Trackecord of Chavez Jr tells you that he is not so dedicated.”
There is a conviction that if the Mexican pops up as even half of his former self, he should have too much for Paul, who started his training for boxing White Collar Celebrity in just 2018. Kellerman is not so sure that it will be sufficient against a much larger and more active hunter 12 years his junior.
“Jake is a larger man naturally and as I said, he is a dedicated hunter,” Kellerman continued. “Chavez has not been that.”
Jake Paul earns world ranking with victory over Julio Cesar Chavez JR
If Jake Paul does enough to land the victory, he is expected to finally land with the WBC in the world ranking. He has already talked about a title fight with Cruiserweight champion Badou Jack, and could be eligible if they are arranged after several ten-round attacks.
Speaking with Action Network, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman said he thinks a ranking would be earned if Paul gets himself to 12-1 on Saturday evening. “My personal opinion is yes,” he answered when he was asked if a victory would land him a place.
“We do have a ranking committee, but I believe he has done enough and he has received all the recoil for several years. If he beats Julio Cesar Chavez JR, I think that puts him in a different position.”
