In a recent interview about the Ariel Helwani show, Paul's manager Nakisa Bidarian doubled his client's fiery statement.
“When you definitively declare that Jake pulls staged or decorated fights, it is simply defamation, and you cause substantial damage to his cases, to MVPs cases and something that 100 percent is not true,” said Bidarian in defense of Paul. “It is a federal crime to organize a fight, so that becomes a lot more aggressive in following these persons who make these statements.
“In the world of social media, these false statements are worn in a way that people will believe the story. And that was the origin of the problems with Dana White, because he was the one who said that Jake's fights were rigged and that he used steroids … People simply cannot believe what Jake does, and we are in the process [of pursuing legal action]. 100 percent, “Bidarian continued.” Enough is enough, enough time has passed that Jake has shown what he can do in the ring. And being able to criticize people, that's ok, but don't make false accusations …
“The damage is that we do business with Dazn, Netflix, Celsius, and that is the damage that you cause, because you force us to have conversations with our partners who simply cannot be justified … Our representation looks at several people to check.”
The gap between Morgan and Paul started a recent interview about Piers Morgan when Paul stormed, uncensored about questions about the ethicality of his Mike Tyson fight.
At the moment, Morgan has not responded to the recent comments from Bidarian or Paul. When they are printed on extra landering goals, Bidarian revealed no other names that could come under fire from their team.
